Default Mystery fly reel

Can anyone remember an innovative reel that came on the market a few years back, from memory came in two sizes, with a hollow centreless design similar to a Loop techno/Hardy Marksman/Imago etc had a wire line guide and a tapered spool, think they may have been a British design, can't remeber the name of them.
They hace oval perforations in the rim Anyone remember them?

I think you are talking about the Norwegian backwinder reels.
Here is the link

They were available in two sizes trout and seatrout sadly they don't make them anymore..

There also are the Dormisch Absi, expensive but really good looking..

Or maybe the German Z-Reels also very special

Hope this helps.
