The furled indicators provide excellent bite indication using nymphing type techniques where bite indication is critical. The furled leaders can be enhanced by applying a permanent mark pen, to provide a contrast in changing water and light conditions. The application of a paste floatant, such as Mucilin or Gink floatant, will float the indicators for most of a day's fishing. The Indicators do not pick up and spray water while casting as hollow, braided leaders do.
Each furled indicator is constructed of 6/0 thread, hand furled. 2.5 mm rig rings are provided at each end of the indicator to enable leader and tippet material to be affixed.
