Default Holiday on the Wharfe

Booked a family holiday at Hebden in Wharfedale for the middle of July. My 5 year old already likes the look of Kilnsey childrens pool.
I fished the Wharfe as a lad and cant wait to go back.
Any advice on what flies to knock up would be great. I guess I will have to fish early or late due to family holiday and the number of paddlers about during the day.
Is the pub in Burnsall the place to get a week ticket?
Thanks for any help, dave

Hi
The Red Lion at Burnsall sells the day tickets for the Burnsall stretch, the Estate Office at Bolton Abbey sells the tickets for their stretch and the Tennants Arms at Kilnsey supplies tickets for their stretch.

Tie up some klinkhammers good also for New Zealand style, F flies, caddis patterns. I do like black headed nymphs as well.

Have a great holiday

Cheers

Steve

thanks men for all the advice. I will be grabbing a couple of hours here and there so don't want to be traveling too far so I thought Burnsall would be best bet.
Really looking forward to the fishing and a few pints
thanks , dave
