No and can't seem to find one, only glue but with no patches. I was going to ring Guideline to see if they do one.

Mm, thats less then handy!

I was just searching through the SFF and it seems when it comes to glue Aquasure thinned with Cotal 240 seems to be the recommendation. The cotal seems to be a cleaner/primer too.

I managed a similar repair on my Greys G series.

I put some tape over the rip on the outside then turned them inside out, did the gluing and patch on inside, i used B&Q Rubber Glue which has unfortunately been discontinued, when it had cure turned them right way out again and just put a minimum of a smear of glue over the loose ends of the tear on the outside.
Seemed to do the job.

Hiya,

Just get yourself some Tenacious Tape. Its the biz. It may not work so well when adhering to wet surfaces, so it may not be so good for 'in the field repairs' but it can fix thermarests, platypus drinking bladders and gore-tex jackets so I can confirm that it can take a bit of abuse and form a water or air tight barrier.

Its just like sellopate - cut a piece off the roll, stick it over the hole and away you go. You can forget about it as it will last for years . . . .. A lot easier than glues and potions! Just make sure you cut it on-the-round so there are no corners to catch and then lift.

Andy

PS - You'll get it from good mountaineering shops.

For a tear like that, I haven't found anything that works better than ShoeGoo adhesive. It's tough, it stays flexible and it sticks permanently and doesn't peel off. You can also do both sides of a tear such as the one you have for added strength.

I'd put a temporary piece of duct tape on the inside of the waders to prevent the glue from seeping through the open tear, then patch on the outside. Then when that's dry, take the duct tape off, and also patch on the inside.
