Default Kamasan Hooks

Fishtec have recently doubled the price of Kamasan hooks and they are now on a par with the prices charged by most other places. Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy them now?

Phoned a local tackle shop the other day to ask about hook size availibility.

He told me he was expecting a delivery in this weekend and has been told by his supplier the price will be up about 30%.

The days of deals on hooks is over, only a couple years ago I could buy Hayabusas and Kams for £25 per 1000, now they are near double that.

Price of scrap has gone through the roof, the Far East will buy as much as we can sell them.

There is hope for your car yet then PP
£25 per 1000 was trade price as well back then.
All hook prices will be rising over the next couple of months.

On the basis that the hook is the only bit of our kit that attaches to the fish I don't really mind paying for quality.

When you consider the importance of the hook, its price is negligible when you consider the cost of rods, reels, lines, tickets ......
