Forgive my ignorance, and at the risk of looking a total pillock, can these reels be used as fly reels?

I was wondering how long these reels have been on the market. Do they stand up to the regular usage?

See the "cheap 'pin" thread under Classic Coarse Fishing section. No reason to think they wont last, solid alloy construction, not much to go wrong unless the bearing wears out, which is highly unlikely I would have thought. Anyway, for £30 squid you can't go wrong!
