Let's face it. A fishing mag is a pure luxury item and the price is determined by what the punters will pay for their luxuries, which is usually a lot.
Most of the average fishing mag is of little interest and too much (IMO) taken up with reports from correspondents of days out that they had on venues I've never heard of and will never visit. An occasional article sparks interest, a new method that you try out once, doesn't work and you forget about. Most of what you learn is from other fishermen and from trial and error. A mag is just another bit of retail therapy, a dummy for when you cant fish, a chinese meal that leaves you feeling empty 2 hours later. Of course you have to pay over the odds for it.
(cant wait for the next issue of TFF)
