Default United Utilities Waters Float tubing BANNED

I've just had a phone call from my local fishery manager/lease owner, who has been informed today by United Utilities that all float tubing is now banned on all of the United Utilities waters...

As anybody else heard likewise or is there any other fishery managers/staff or lease owners been informed of the same.

Off the top of my head Stewart my local Walkerwood and Arnfield.
Mainly in the NorthWest region 184 Reservoirs including Stocks as far as I am aware.

Fear of the dreaded killer shrimp spreading to their waters...

What exactly does " the killer shrimp " do and where did it come from ? Had a look through the thread in the section above but couldn't see this info.

It'll be like blue green algae I would imagine. If it want's to go somewhere it will. It's actually ironic that some anglers pretended their waters had this in order to keep windsurfers away and now the killer shrimp is going to stop anglers float tubing. Click the image to open in full size.
