Default Spring Fly Fishing Show

This is coming up on the 26th & 27th of this month in Newark.

Has anyone been before and is it any good?

I go every other year, I went two years on the trot and found it all much the same, so decided on every other year. Very much worth the trip, dont expect too many bargains although if you search you will find them. Casting demo's by the likes of Charles Jardine are worth a gander. I will be there on the Sunday this year.

I've not managed a visit yet, the missus and I were going to make a weekend of it last year but the kennels we use were fully booked up, my own fault should of booked them in much earlier. I do intend a visit this year but probably just for the day!

Why didn't you book a hotel like other people?

yep The Spring Flyfishing Show - Home

It will be very busy this year as its part of the British Shooting Show again, which IMO was brilliant the last time they did this..

Thanks James but I think I'll be giving it a miss this year and visit the Biffi in the summer.

I won't be going this year, I'm only interested in the fly fishing side & think £15 is too much, plus diesel to get there & back

I'd sooner have a day fishing & get bargains off the tinterweb

Paul
