Sorry for this, whats the difference between a whiting herbert saddle and a whiting herbert neck, apart from the price.

The neck is s much more versatile purchase, it will provide a greater range of feather sizes enabling you to tie a bigger variety of fly sizes

The neck is from the neck area of the bird and the saddle is from the middle down if that makes sense?

saddles are good if you tie flies in a close range of sizes eg 12 to 14 as saddles tend to have a close range of feather sizes. If you tie from say 8 to in the 20s a cape will suite you better
