Default Eyebrook Tackle & Tying Show

For those of you in the Leicestershire/Cambridgeshire/Rutland area, I thought I would put a post up about an event happening next Sunday (13th Feb).

Eyebrook Trout Fishery in Caldecott, Leicestershire are having their annual 'Tackle & Tying' Show, hosted by Stuart and Sue Illsly from the Eyebrook Tackle Shop. On the day there will be fly-tying demonstrations by Rob Edmunds and members of the England Youth Fly Fishing Team which will include successful stillwater patterns.

Representatives from Hardy, Wychwood, Rio, Greys and Vision tackle suppliers will also be present as will members of Leicester Fly Fishing Club doing displays. There's also a raffle in aid of England Youth Fly Fishing and refreshments are also availible.

For more info, you can phone Eyebrook on 01536 772930 or email them fishing.lodge@corusgroup.com

I'm definately going to try and get there, so if anyone from FF also fancies meeting for a chat during the day, please let me know.

Thanks,
Bob.

Desperate to get out the house for an hour or two, so I'll probably mosey on over for a look-see 'n' cup of tea.

Cheers for the heads-up.

Edit: Feel free to shake the hand of the new England Youth manager, and feel free to give him a sizeable donation in support of the youth team, in return for one of his first class, guaranteed to catch flies.

Congratulations on your new job Phil, and good luck!

Not a problem Susan.......... Thanks for coming along and supporting the event.

That goes for everyone who contributed very generously to the raffle in aid of the EYFA. We raised £114 in total which we are all really pleased with.

Special thanks must go to Eyebrook Tackle shop for hosting us and ensuring that the day was worthwhile for all.

Thanks again to everyone who supported the day.

Well done for doing it on a bad foot too, Phil.

Is it getting better?
