Default Battery Charger

What would be the most suitable charger for using with leisure batteries, cheers

I just use a Halfords own brand automatic charger around £40 for my boat , automatically switches to maintenance mode once charged, seemed to get some good writeups

I have a CTEK Multi XS 7000.

They are not cheap but it does a few different charges as well as a maintenance mode if you can leave it on and attched.

You just need to make sure the charger has enough oomph to charge the leisure battery you have.

The battery chargers from lidl & aldi are cheap but very good, similar idea as the ctek, but they don't restart themselves after a power cut

I've been using a Black and Decker BDV1084 with my 110ah Leisure battery for the last couple of years. Sits in the garage doing the business with a nice display to let you know whats going on. I was lucky and got mine for 30 quid on ebay as they are normally about £50. Highly recommend.

I too have the Halfords own brand
I like the maintenance mode feature which keeps it in tip top condition
I think proper care and maintenance and a decent battery to start with
are more relevant to be honest
I went through a daft phase of buying budget batteries..waste of time and money.
