The bank straight across from the Lodge was always good at this time of year,
And I would say start with an intermediate. An olive marabou tailed lure always worked for me.

Im there all day Wednesday, from talking to Des who worked today it would seem that boats fished better than the boats with one chap catching 15.

Still a fair bit of ice on the Thornton Arm this morning although by late afternoon a lot had gone.

Im in at the lodge from 7.30am give me a call before you travel if you want.

You wont find a better run place and i know the staff will put you right, havent fished it for about 18 months so must make the effort this season.
