Look through the fly tying section you'll find loads of great ideas and some cracking flees.

Very fortunately you can learn fly tying just from books. However, today we have the internet with umpteen step by step (SBS) guides and videos for a wide range of flies. It is best if you can get lessons, or join the Fly Dressers' Guild if you can. Watching and listening to an expert fly dresser is a fast track to success so even if you cannot get lessons, visit fly fairs and get stuck in with some of the finest flly dressers from around the world. Even if you cannot get to watch or have some lessons you can still do it on your own, with the help of books and places on the internet like here.

You already possess the first qualification to be a good fly dresser by being interested.

Hi

The Southside Flydressers meet every Monday night in Hillpark Secondary School. They start at 7pm.

Also, the River Clyde Forum hold flytying classes in the Montford Arms in Kings Park. They meet every second Wednesday in the pub function suite. They start back tomorrow night at 7pm

Hope this helps
