hi guys i am going to fish a small still water for the first time what flies would you recommend.

Is it a fish the water type stillwater,or is it a clear.stalking type water.

You may well get a better response if you name the water. There will more than likely be someone on here who knows it well. For me I 'd go with the usual suspects..........GRHE......PTN.....Buzzers.....klinks.....CDC emergers...........birdsnest

I agree say where and someone will know but cold recently small lures or bloodworms daiwl bachs always do well.

its lambton lake a small water near houghton its not a stalking water you just pay your money and fish am going saturday to give it a go.

This time of year Bigtel I'd go for Apps Bloodworm in black, red, amber or olive, let them sink and use long slow pulls or a slow f of 8.

You can try a black and green lure.simple Fritze and marabou.

I would definitely recommend any type of fritz or zonker , should get them stirred up !

thanks for the advice guys will give zonkers a go never fished them before so looking forward to it.
