Previous thread here
How do you degrease leaders?

I get fullers earth in the shape of cat litter from Aldi. Bag has far too much and it's a swine to pound into dust, but it's cheap.

You can get fullers earth powder on ebay, just mix with washing up liquid and some glycerine to keep it soft

The local tackle shop sells tubs of the powder stuff premade up for a reasonable price but when it dries out a drop of glycerine and washing liquid turns it back into paste form again.

I find it best if you apply it to your cast and then leave it for a minute tilll it dries on your cast

First law of fishing tackle.

If it hasn't cost a lot of money, it can't be any good.

Fullers Earth ain't a lot of good on flies, it's a grey sticky paste !!!
You'll need a liquid sinkant like Xink etc. on the fly, Fullers Earth is
only suitable for leaders . . . . .
