Default "Sticky" Airflo clear line slow intermediate

Hi has anyone else noticed that the Airflo Clear line seems to be very "sticky" when casting? I have recently fitted one and found my casts to be about 20 feet shorter than when using an equivalent coloured line

Is this when fishing, or practising casing? When I used the clear Airflo I used to soak the spool overnight, or if I forgot put it in the boat's baler to soak. The line seemed to absorb water, and as a result cast better and break through the surface easier. I also ran it through a pad of detergent after every trip.

I think they make some great sinking lines, as proved by their popularity on the competition scene. Their clear intermediates (like most clear lines) had their disadvantages but the sixth sense slow and fast inters are fantastic lines, fish and cast beautifully.

I dont think I would touch an Airflo clear intermediate after too many poor samples found their way on to my spools.

Sinkers, Yes!

Floaters and Inters, No!

Get a Pirate inter as they are decent lines
