Default Snowbee line

I used one all seson and i find a very easy line to cast with especially when you slow you're casting speed right down. Good line for fishing buzzers on a washing line or just straight linning them. I did however find that it was a tad aggressive when using dries on finer tippets, thats when i switched to my cortland 444. Thin running line can be a bit tangly but most modern lines have them now. I have always given it a coat of the snowbee line dressing and it has always flew through the rings down to the backing. 7 wt lines are what i use but never used them any lighter than that.

Graeme.

I have the white floating line in weight 7 used on a 6 weight greys GRXI+ 9ft 6" rod.

Best line you will ever buy!!!!

The line slick bottle that comes with it, helps you cast an extra 20 feet! no joke.

It has revolutionised my fishing, they are that good.

Get one.

Cheers
Russell

I swapped the other way as I got a good deal on the Snowbee when replacing the line and it came highly recommended by the tackle shop owner. -I personally prefer the Snowbee but I didn't find a massive difference or advantage over the Cortland - they are both good lines.

If it’s the XS Neutral Density, then yes can thoroughly recommend, casts/shoots well, can be a bit reluctant to sink at times, especially when calm, but the supplied degreaser/line strip sorts that out, doesn’t always sink parallel, but have never found this a problem. Have used moderately for 2 seasons now, still very supple and no cracking.

Is this the normal XS in weight forward or the ED with the "pink" running line?
