Just found a link from Leeds DASA website. Ive lived in Leeds for about 5 years now and not heard of this trout lake. Cant find much info online, just wondered if any one had fished it and if it was worth a look in.

Yes mate, I've fished it a few times.
It was created approx 4 years ago, is about 2 acres in size, and no more than 8 feet deep.

Various tickets are available, full/half day etc with C&R an option if you don't want to take any fish home.
A discount is available if you are a card holding Leeds DASA member, but as I recall the charges were really reasonable anyway.
I haven't fished it recently, but was always an OK venue in the past.

Hi we fished there last August ,wouldn't race to go back as the venue IMO is really bland . But it was worth the few quid we spent just to see the red kites at such close range !!!
