Default Bradshaw Fly Fishers

Hi all,

Twenty odd years ago, as a teenager in Bolton, I used to fish Bradshaw brook up around Bradshaw Cricket Club. Many a happy hour of then, un -restricted or un-controlled fishing.
Last year, after many years not touching a rod and casting a line in anger, I took up fly fishing. I recently visited a few old haunts including Bradshaw Brook. I was interested to see that the fishing rights have been taken by Bradshaw Fly Fishers. Great to see such rivers as this being taken care of!!
After trying an internet search and reading a couple of Fly Fising Fourums the Bradshaw Fly Fishers appear a little "publicity shy". At least in the areas of investigation i've tried.
As i'm looking for some experience in trout fishing in rivers and streams, in particular a palce within half an hour of my home, I'd love to find out how an interested, novice fly fisher, could aquire the details of the BFF.
If anyone knows the details, I would be greatful to recieve the information on this or any other trout filled river in or around Bolton and Manchester.

After a little prodding around - I've had the majority of my questions relating to the BFF answered.
I have been lead to understand that the reason for a lack of information may be due to the following.
The BFF have the fishing rights to about a mile and a half of Bradshaw Brook.
As a result of this the water is limited to only 40 rods or members.
There is, as I understand a waiting list for membership. Presumably as a result of the limited numbers of rods available. Equally, it can therefore be understood that the relative difficulty in finding membership information self regulates membership itself.
