Anybody know anything about this fishery? Searched this forum but couldn't find anything on it - sorry if it's already been covered.

just google fylde fishery, and it tells you all you need to know,reports pictures etc.

I assume then that it's a standard commercial fishery of at least a reasonable standard?

It's the nearest fishery for a newbie out to get his first trout and some casting practice under fire. Wouldn't want him to start off on a hard water for his first outing.

I think the standard is ok but so far I haven't found it easy.....
In this current weather I'd take a total newb to Kilnsey or maybe Pendle View to get their hand in. If it's your nearest though then nothing to lose giving it a go - try and go just after a re-stock for a better chance

Interesting. We had planned to meet at Pendle View but something came up. I have only fished it and Kilnsey once and both in the last couple of weeks.
I found Pendle View, patchy and when I was at Kilnsey, it was gin clear and only a few pegs catching, everyone else was blanking. Mind you, both outings were in near arctic conditions and hardly typical.
