Tried ordering them last year from Orvis U.K. but they don't stock them! Only available in the states I was told. Fancied buying a set after favourable reviews on the 'net. Do you know if anybody stocks them in the U.K.?

I went into an orvis shop in Amersham and looked through the catalogue and they do now stock them. I did speak to someone in another branch of orvis up north somewhere and they was very helpful. I bought a reel and they loaded a fair amount of backing onto the reel and sent it courier delivered to me. So yes they do sell them! I bought them as a bday present for someone who has not yet tried them out and am considering whether to get a set myself...

Been using them for about 3yrs, Got them from the Orvis shop in Stockbridge. They are nice supple heads and shoot well the clear one is a Rio max 2 head as Orvis don't do a clear intermediate. They come with 35lb mono tied with nail knots on the leader end and braided loops on the running line end. The running line is very thin and mine only lasted a year before I replaced it with the airflo running line. other than that they are a good shooting head set. I have the 10wt set and use them on my 8wt loomis cross current.

There is a blue floating head but thats on my reel
