I have an 8' 4wt that I bought in the states about 6 years ago and I absolutely love it.
It's light, casts a country mile and for a 4wt is surprisingly powerful when needed.

They definitely get the thumbs up from me.

Iv got a couple and use to swear by them, but worried about breaking them in a boat I put them to one side and started fishing with a cheapy spring creek rod, (now broken) Im on a £50 grays xd at the minute which is a great tool.
Back to the St.Croix they are good rods, built to a good standard and handle and cast well.
Forgot to say that I got mine through Iflyfish in the states 1 was just the rod and 1 came as a combo.
