Default which landing net mesh?

Given the choice would you opt for a pvc dipped nylon mesh or a silicone rubber mesh for C&R use ...

Thats a question I have asked my self lately as I am not that keen on the mesh net on my McClean weigh net so I will look forward to the replies with interest.

PVC dipped nets would probably always wear badly, and have bits of pvc breaking/cracking thus causing more areas which could damage fish.
silicone rubber nets wont, but would be more difficult to "sink" under fish!
aint a lot wrong with the close knit knotless mesh nets on market at moment.
Ideally for c/r fish should be unhooked in water using long handled release tool! or simillar method, hence no nets!.
I know this is not practical in a lot of situations, but if we really thought about release, before hooking and playing fish, am sure we could all increase the numbers we carry out this method on.
regards
