Default Line memory on rio lines

I have just got another rio midge tip line and i have problems with memory

Can anyone tell me why this is as its the second time it has happened,
This does not happen with any my other lines and also it is kept very loose on the spool when not being used ,,

Any ideas ?

Cheers
Edd7

Unusual for a Rio Edd, never had a midge tip, but all my other Rio's are supple as hell.

Thanks Edd, but can you keep them mate, and I will tell you where to send them when the auction ends, saves posting them twice.
A pic of them would be handy though, we'll stick them on in February if that's ok with you.
Best S.

No probs Stephen , I not very good at the photos though and would like a good photo of them as they are very nice

p.s There will be a full box of them as opposed to the grand max , so there will be a total of 133 qaulity buzzers in a fox box ,, is that ok ?

cheers

That's very unusual Edd, are you sure it's not line twist instead of memory?

Best wishes
Mike

hello all plastic fly lines have memory if stored on a reel for long periods of time as the nature of the material, there is no such thing as 100% but some are much better than others or could be old stock, some lines are supple some have a harder coating so if new get a replacement or try a tin of replastisiser, the best 1 i found was sportsmail own brand floater but i think to give a pirate line a go this season
