Best month to fish Rutland

Been a few years now since we were over at Rutland, just wondered what peoples taughts are on the best month to book a trip. Would probably prefer to fish buzzers but a mix of all methods would be good. We traditionally went in May but Corrib/Mask is at it's peak in May so it's hard to justify a trip then. What is Sept like over there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
