Default Best Rod Warranty

Having just had a nightmare 6 months with a Loomis / Shimano warranty, anyone have any opinions who of the middle to high end rod manufacturers offer the best no questions asked warranty.

Hi ,have done a small bit of research on this recently and it seems ORVIS and a company called ST CROIX offer a 25 year multi owner warranty a point worth bearing in mind when buying second hand , lots of these rods on the American/Canadian arm of this forum and seem to offer good value ,I would like to learn more about the ST CROIX brand. This could be a very helpfull thread thanks for initiating.

If I had to buy a rod purely for the back up, it would be an Orvis every time.
Same with waders and reels, no quibble, just replaced.

I don't think there is anyone better than Orvis. Their aftersales service is superb

I've never dealt with Orvis but I had to return rods to Sage and found them brilliant to deal with. No questions asked and only charge carraige costs.

Got to agree with all of the above re Orvis, sent a rod back last year and they were unable to replace it due to the broken rod having been discontinued so they sent out a more expensive replacement, there service is second to none.
