Default Best compatition fly?

Hi guys, im doing a lot of compatition fishing now, but i was wondering is there one fly that stands out from the crowd? any help please

White cat , Orange blob, or Cormorant. will see you OK

Blobs In a variety of colours will serve you well ! Especially orange, sunburst and black are very good fish catchers

It really depends on the water but a plain sunburst blob takes some beating. If they don't want bright flies then diawl bachs, crunchers, or cormorants seem to be the way. Theres definately not 1 fly that stands out from the crowd, its down to the waters your fishing and the pressure, stocking policies etc etc.
