Smile What flies will the fish be on?

Hi guys, I'm going fishing tommorrow, the lake has thawed and is fishable, but I don't know what flies work well in winter, or what lines to fish them on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello jack. Try fishing cold water shrimp patterns, either free line or under an indicator. At this time of year, keep it small. Don't over look buzzers, they just be as effective as chucking in a lure. As normal finding the feeding depth is important. I was fishing Ptns today. Took 8 & dropped 2, the fish were feeding on cold water shrimp. They were in the top 3-4 feet of water. Tight lines.
