I have been thinking about my annual trip to Canada to visit my daughter.
I can go for a month this time so I am looking towards splitting the trip up-
a week or so fishing and the rest of the time with my daughter-bird watching and the obligatory shopping trips to the USA.
I arrive in Toronto and then travel south to Windsor.
One of the stopping points is London,and looking around that area I see that there is the Grand River, so that looks like a good bet for the fishing part of my holiday.
I have been to Canada before but never wet a line, so I am going to get a few casts in this time.
Planning to go late August mid September- so any recommendations?
There is plenty of info on the internet but thought I would try you guys as well. The other thing I would like to ask –do you think I would get away with travelling over there light and coming back heavy?
There is the odd rod and reel etc. I would like to purchase.
