Brilliant programme! I really enjoyed the first couple of episodes shown back last year! Also enjoyed this one this evening.

Nice programme apart from getting all weepy over shooting a mink.

Pom, when you view it on iPlayer will you replay the trapped mink bit and report back? The animal seemed far too calm, and a bit broad in the head, to be a wild mink. It could have been posed with a tame otter; see what you think? Anyway wasn't that Charlie Hamilton-James a bit too smug, full of faux angst, whilst seemingly administering the coup de grâce with one air-rifle shot.


The bulk of the programme was very good. The kingfisher dive footage, and speed calculation, exceptional.
