Default Cold enough ???

Thought I would head down to the Wharfe at Bolton Abbey for a spot of Grayling fishing ... shouldn't have bothered today!

This is the river by the Priory two weeks ago, looking down to the stepping stones and footbridge, then looking upriver from that bridge:

Yep - frozen from bank to bank - and the wind was rather biting ...

(Many thanks to Mark Whitehead for some of the photos)

Kind regards

eeee don't you just love it . I was on the wharfe at Ilkley on wednesday and was met with the exact same problem - did manage to find a couple of holes to pitch a fly but the only result was frozen rod rings and a leader like an icicle! Come on march 25th.... where are you??
