im off to cornwall/devon for christmas so want to give it a couple of goes. usually fish tavistock which i really like and always have a good day there. Anyone have any other suggestions?

If small stillwater is on the agenda, I'd suggest Tree Meadow Farm. A friendly, well-run place that I fished during Christmas 2008. There is a "regular" and a separate specimen lake.

It will have to be a small water as everywhere else is closed,
If your staying at the top end of the county you have Bake lakes nr Saltash
mid Cornwall there is Temple nr Bodmin or in the west Tree Meadow.
They could all be frozen so ring first.
