Default New WTT guidance manual launched

The Urban River Restoration Guidelines are now available from the WTT website (free download in low resolution, or available to purchase in hi res on CD very soon). However, the guidelines also include very useful advice on how to organise the care of rural rivers also (e.g. successful working parties) as well as cross referencing the existing WTT guidelines.

Members of TinTT chapters and other key groups involved with the development of the project will shortly receive complementary CD copies in the post.

Free download here:

Wild Trout Trust.

Have a read and I hope you find some useful tips and guidance. Please also feel free to contact the WTT for additional support and advice (free of charge)

Thanks Paul, downloaded for future reference - we're not all that urban here but still good info though, particularly section 3 ... nice log diagrams!

Ditto...

I also found the Wild Trout Trust. 5 section 'Uplands River Habitat Manual' which is of more interest to my locale and situation. Superb stuff.
