Default Photography/articles matchmaking

Following on from a thread in the Fly tying bit where people who faintly smell of moth balls hang out, here's a little announcement.

There may be hundreds of people who want to write articles for magazines on here, but don't have the photography skills to provide the pics.

But there are loads of good photographers on here....

There are lots of amateur editors who can help with the spelling too

So this is a matchmaking thread!

If anyone can volunteer their services to help out with photography, please say so on here, if anyone would like help with photography to go with their article, say so here!

In short, lets try and harness the combined talents and passions of people on the forum to create some good articles.

Me first, I can help with photo's down south.

My other hobby is photography so I have a Canon SLR and full 1:1 macro lens along with flash studio lights and various background colours if anyone needs my help.

Rob.

Good idea but perhaps should be in the photography section?

I've been known to take a decent photo or two and get them published along with a good few articles. Not bad at tying flies and I think my written English is good enough to pass muster.

I've been a newspaper journalist for 30 years. Would be happy to do some editing if any requires it, but don't want to write anything. It would be too much like work - I fish to get away from all that!

Default Writing Articles

I've written a monthly angling newspaper for seven years for my local club. Most of the time I generate and find the material which is hard work. I'm happy to write articles on fly fishing and related subjects. I'm retired so I have a lot of time when not fishing. I've fifty years plus fishing experience, four of them in competitions, and tie flies.Anything fishing related I am passionate about. Oh yes, I also run a private fishing club located in Barley, near Burnley, Lancashire.
I'd love to help with this project.
BK

Check your Inbox. Only selling it because I want to treat myself to the much more expensive L-series 100mm macro. Every photo I have posted here of flies/bugs has been taken with this lens.
