Question Bone fish

I would like to go for a few days bonefishing at the end of febuary, just before the trout season starts. Not sure which are the best destinations at this time of year.Ihave been to Cuba 5 yrs ago and had a tremendous time but it was later in the year.Any suggestions or advice would be welcome.
Thanks
David

Default Bonefish

for Cuba check out Fly Fishing Caribe & Patagonia for all species and some medium bonefish

for Hawaii check out fly fishing guides in hawaii for big bonefish only

also check out Islamorada Florida

good luck

For me February bonefishing has to be on the Los Roques archipelago, or somewhere near the equator so that the sun is high in the sky, fishes even better in March (the best month).

The money-no-object destination would be Christmas island, as close to the equator as makes no difference.

Pytchley,

I fished Deep Water Cay, some time ago in Bahamas. Wonderful wonderful fishing with the chance of a permit, tarpon and other flats fish too. the wading's not great, but from a boat i think there's 200 square miles of flats. Don't ignore the sharks too. great fun on a light rod.

DWC also has the benefit of a very smart lodge with excellent food and drink. sitting on the pontoon as the sun goes down watching large fish in the lagoon is one of my favourite memories...
