This is not strickly a fly fishing matter but there is a new scam going around and it has to do with paying for your weekly shop at the supermarket by credit card.when you pay by card sometimes you are asked "if you want cash back"well it works like this you are not asked by the person on the till if you want cash back but they put it on the receipt as if you have, small ammounts normally then they give there mate the nod so when they pass through and pay for there items your cash back money is given to there mate so the person on the till does not actually have any of the money on them.Lets face it say they are putting £10 a time on people who have had a big shop and paid by card do that twenty times a day not bad work if you can get it.So check your till receipts.If people have checked their reciepts and have brought it to the attention of the person on the till they just say that they have made a mistake and here is your cash back dont accept it ask to see the manager.

this was put up in viewpoint ,but none the less still worth reminding people about it as many wont check them ,and with hectic christmas shopping already here damn fools ,all they want to do is get there stuff and get out of the shop/supermarket as quickly as possible after fighting through the aisles with them that do 6 weeks shopping for a couple of days the shops might be shut ,bloody clowns,those that do that please post your replies underneath
