I'm going to try the river today for the first time since the snow (if i can get there ) and see if the ladies are playing. Has anyone been on the river in the last few days? if so any luck?

Aye, keep us posted, I was thinking of going out next Saturday on the River Derwent which is showing as up 5" but steady.

I'm back from 2 hours on the Don. I had 3 ladies. It was tough as the holes where the G's lay when its very cold were frozen over. They are the slower runs but i've never seen the river frozen over.

I found a few runs but to be honest there is not a lot of water around........ unbelievably. Maybe its too cold for even the lovely ladies
