Mine bends down to the corks when I cast it :-). I Wouldn't describe it as floppy, but it's not the beast that many make out.

What line James? A 9#?
But I do agree not the beast it is made out to be.
In fact I am on the lookout for one. Tried one before,detested it then tried another a few weeks ago and quite liked it

It's my go-to trout rod. I use #5 lines with it (albeit long bellied ones - MED's/Barrio GT140). I get on with it really well, even at short distances. Won't be to everyones taste though.

Thought you would use your #8 nanno for them!???

I bought a 7 weight off flea bay the other day for £200. it suits my casting style perfectly. - a lovely rod imo.
