I sent off a cheque in early October for a net to 'flickupflickback' aka Peter Scholes in October and haven't received it despite numerous assurances it was on its way - I even had the site administrator on to him and he told him it would be posted ( 2 weeks ago! ). I've gave the lad plenty of chances to prove he sent it, but I've been let down so many times I don't believe he ever will send it.
Stay clear!!

Sorry to hear of your sour deal. Was the guy a 3 hour 30 post wonder ? You get a few on here and can usually surmise they will be posting something to sell on their early thirtieth

Trust is the key word! We need to demonstrate our trustworthiness, by custom and practise over a period of time, therefore showing oneself to be of good character. Unfortunately there are a minority who will always abuse the trust they are shown, Bad Form!

Luckily the majority of forumite's are trustworthy and genuine participants of this site.

I'm saddened to hear of this incident; and it reflects badly on our friendly forum.

I have met this guy on the comp scene, a Stocks man, seemed very straight nice chap to me, hopefully there is a good solid explanation for all this, possibly he or a member of family been ill, other personal issues, I don't know.

Sorry to see you are having these problems and hopefully all comes out in the wash.

I'd like to believe that to Pitsford Pirate - but The lads promised loads of times to send it, apologised more than once - and every time I'm let down. I don't even want the net now - but I also don't want others on the forum to be chasing shadows - it's just not the way to go about things.

2 Forum members asking for items ,which l offered free of charge
i posted both items total cost 17 quid on the understanding flies or other items would pay postage
l member sent items worth 2 pounds other member nothing so with packing, and post 20 quid
