Thanks very much for this link. As a new fly fisherman I was a bit nervous about trying my hand at tying but these excellent videos - and Dave's lovely, laid-back style - have persuaded me to give it a go as soon as I can get some money together for a decent vice and tools.

Steve,
Fly tying is a great way to pass the time when not fishing and there's loads of instructional videos and patterns on the web.
When you say "get some money together to buy a decent vice and tools", I strongly advise you to ask some of the fly tyers on this site. You can pay a fortune for gear when you don't need to.
