I will be in lincolnshire the next week was going to try withern mill for the grayling, anyone fished it lately ?

Well unless something out of the ordinary happens fishing isn't all that exciting is it, it's relaxing and enjoyable and the feeling of being close to nature, I haven't fallen in the river this year, so far, unusual for me, but there's still time,...
There are lots and lots of interesting stories as you put it, but that is not what you asked for in your post.........search the forum, I can assure you they are there!!!!

This is my first post so Hi everyone

I fished Withern Mill last wkend seeing as i live not too far from it,cant comment on the grayling as i was after the trout.Had a great day regardless of the wind,caught my limit on crunchers and wet daddies.

Was hoping to try the river - i come alive when i fish or see running water !

Hi again

I'm not a river or grayling fisher but i took a look at the river,it looked pretty coloured up to me ( dunno if that helps or not? ) as we have had a fair bit of rain up here lately.

Well in that case if you really want to come alive, when you get to Withern, just keep going a mile or two and you will come to the river Humber, that's running pretty fast at the moment.... it's faster still, on a flood tide, some nice cod in there......
