Hi there just to point out a venue that is probably the best Brown Trout Venue in Central Scotland at the minute.

Its Loch Earn and boats can be hired from Drummond Estates near Lochearnhead.

You can fly fish ,bait fish or troll and bank tickets can also be purchased.

The standard of boat and engine is excellent and quailty of Fly fishing is brilliant. The area and scenery is also stunning.

All you need is intermediate line and a team of traditional flys.

I have fished this venue for around 10 years and its not uncommon to catch a dozen trout with the fly.

Fish avearge around 1 1/2 lbs but there are fish much bigger on occasion.
