Default Foam for Tuff Boxes ?

Hi Guys

I have just bought a couple of " Tuff Boxes " to use as Fly Boxes but I need to ask if anyone can tell me where the best and cheapest place is to get some foam for them ?

Any ideas would be welcome.

Cheers.

Ripple foam can be bought from Sportfish about a 2 foot square called a boat patch. About a fiver ish.

Flat foam also from the above,or Hobbycraft for about 50p or £1.00 a sheet quite thin but can be doubled up.

Contact Steve Parton at Sparton Tackle or via this Forum. He sells excellent foam for this very purpose.

Have a look here.
20 Strips of Micro Slit Foam on eBay (end time 12-Dec-10 22:33:51 GMT)

They do sheets of foam as well.

I love the Tuff Boxes but find that if your storing bulky flies they sometimes get squashed. Boobies were a problem until I got around this problem by using the thin self adhesive foam from hobby craft. like has been said, it can be doubled up if required.
