Hi there....can anyone help with any information on fisheries and rivers in and around the watford herts area....im a relative novice so any help and advice would be welcome...

There is a few stillwaters - Rib Valley in Ware, Tringford in Tring, and another Small stillwater in Boxmoor,Hemel Hempstead. I think there is also another water that is part of the watford piscators or one of the Rickmansworth clubs.
Rib Valley is probably the best for a novice, do a search on here as there have been a few threads of that water lately and many on here who will help you out.

I don't care much for the rivers so know very little but take at look at Loopy's Blog as he has documented many of Herts rivers.

Personally I'd rather go to Grafham as its only 45mins from Watford! and Pitsford is under an hour away, but maybe save those until you have mastered the basics, although I'm not sure I have yet!
