Hi all, in the market for a hot smoker basically after recommendations from you all, both for the smoker and recipes, i reckon this is the only forum area missing............

Needs to be available in the uk, reasonably cheap,

can you get them for 2 fish at a time? I will probably fillet the trout first.

i use the brinkmann smoke n pit. it doubles up as a bbq and it goes outside to keep the wife happy. jon.

A biscuit tin with a wire rack over a meths or gas burner. You put the chips in the bottom of the tin, put the fish on a wire rack over the chips, pop the lid on the put over a low flame for 1/2 an hour.

Why would you waste money buying one? Hot smoking is a very simple process and doesn't need any specialist (expensive) equipment.

Sunshine, you are about to be hung, drawn and quartered by the only expensive stuff from a fishing shop will do the job klatch.
