I was looking perhaps to join a flyfishing Angling Club in the Stirling area but it seems to me that what clubs might be out there don't want to be found. Somewhat woeful on the web front for publicity.
Anyone know of any clubs?
I have a vague awareness of a club called Stirling Castle AC as I know it is they who have the rights for Cocksburn Reservoir (Pendreich I beleive its known locally as) up at Bridge of Allan. But not been able to find out anything about it. I asked in Stirling Angling Centre- and it was like I had asked to join the masons- a lot of umming and ahhing!! I am sure one of the guys there is a member cos I have seen him up there!
I also see reports of clubs in the fishery reports from time to time but again not been able to pin any down.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
