just bought a wychwood para drogue and was wondering which g clamps to buy and what is the best way to set the drogue up

You can get G clamps from B & Q or similar stores. You'll need ones that open up to a 3" gape. I use 2 with a Wychwood drogue, attaching one to each of the guy ropes and them positioning them on the side of the boat fore 7 aft. You'll need to experiment a bit to get the spacing & positioning right according to the wind on the day and on the size & weight of the anglers in the boat.

I bought 2 Wychwood G clamps, they were brilliant this year at Rutland Water!!!

It's worth getting in touch with Pitsford Pirate. He does, or did, a service that would set the whole thing up for you and doesn't charge very much for it.

I don't do very much Boat Fishing but those that have used his service are full of praise for it.

I never like the sound of G clamps being used.
Can you get plastic coated clamps to save the boat getting wrecked.
