Default Cheepo version

If it does not have to be international rules ,why not make your own out of a broken golf umbrella canopy.I used these for years.Tie of 4 5' pieces of Paracord to 4 corners. put a loop in the opposite ends then get another 5' of heavier cord tie through loops of paracord with a half blood knot.loop at other end for putting over rowlock /thole pin.
You'll find plenty of broken golf brollies after any decent spell of strong winds, and it's relativly easy to take the cannopy off, with only a pair of pliers.
Black is good as is green or blue.but I would avoid white

I just asked around my workmates for any broken golf brollies,I was innundated with them. And I used the Carbon shafted ones as a pretty good wading stick for my lochstyle bank wading.Once I had taken all the gubbins off.

I use a Wychwood paradrogue. It has a cord at each end of the drogue so that it's easy to spill the water when you want to move. Works fine for me...................birdsnest

Default Drogue

I 've used the Greys Drogue all season and it has worked well. With a clamp at each end of the boat its easy to retrieve or you can motor with it out as long as your careful.
