Greys G-Tec. Got a 5wt from Gary Evans a few months ago on sale at half price. They may have some left. It's not the best rod in the world but by no means a disaster.
Mine lives in my suitcase quite happily.

Cheers

Andy

I've been eyeing up those March Brown rods for a couple of years. How do you they fair say against my usual three piece?

ceeman

I have one of the original Shakespeare Jet telescopic rods, which is about thirty years old, and found it perfectly adequate for all types of fishing. It lives in the boot of my car, which it has done since I got it only being taken out when used

It is a 9' #7 carbon although they went on to make them in glass too. I inherited one of the glass rods which I have never fished with but it feels heavier and less well made than the carbon one.

Cast like a 2 piece, you would never know you were fishing a 7 piece rod.

Great customer service, broke the tip ( all my fault) new rod desptached from Rhode Island free of charge

Thanks for that. I may just treat myself, as long as SWMBO doesn't find out

i can reccomend the frequent flyer.approx 2' in the hard case 7 piece.
when i get it out at the local water 'thats a poachers rod'
i think you might pick them up for about 150 - 170.
